Funds & Donation Policies
- Renewal North manages two separate funds: the Transitioning Worker Fund and the CSA/SA Therapy Fund. Renewal North donors can choose to earmark donations for either one or both of the CSA/SA or Transitioning Worker funds.
- Donations to either fund will be used only for the fund specified, and will remain in the specified fund indefinitely unless the donor selects the “wherever funds are needed most” box on the donation page.
- Renewal North operational expenses will be drawn from either fund at the sole discretion of the Renewal North Board of Directors.
- All information concerning donors and prospective donors will be confidential. No information will be released to the general public without securing the prior written or electronic permission of the donor. For more information please see the Donor Privacy Policy section below.
Earmarking & Preferences Policies & Definitions
- Earmarking / Preferences are provided on the donor page as appropriate to enable donors to have control over how their donation dollars are utilized. Renewal North will make all reasonable efforts to honor donation earmarks and preferences specified during the donation process.
- Donors to the CSA/SA fund have the ability to earmark donations to CSA survivors, SA Survivors, or both.
- Donors to the Transitioning Worker fund have the option of specifying specific scenarios / preferences via checkboxes on the donation page. Multiple checkboxes may be selected.
- If you desire a preference or earmark that is not listed, please contact us. Note that, in general, Renewal North will endeavor to meet the most urgent known needs, the scope of which may not be publicly known. We therefore recommend earmarking funds only when you have strong preferences.
Donor Criteria & Donation Methods
- In order to avoid conflicts of interest, Renewal North does not accept donations from any ministry or regional overseer-owned or controlled funds. Regional overseers have no visibility into or control over who receives assistance from Renewal North.

- Donations are only accepted in Canada currently. Foreign donations cannot currently be accepted.
- Donors can donate funds via checks, credit card, e-transfers, or PayPal.

- Renewal North will acknowledge donors by name on the website and/or newsletters only if the donor checks the “OK to Share Donor Name” checkbox on the donation page.
